| Food for Tots is coauthored by Dr. Janice Woolley and Jennifer Pugmire and illustrated by Marilyn Taggart.
Dr. Janice Woolley is a pediatrician with more than twenty years experience providing medical care to children. Over the years she has helped parents with their concerns about providing healthy food for their preschool children. As a result of this experience, she recognized the need for an up-to-date cookbook for parents. Dr. Woolley is a graduate of Brigham Young University and Indiana University School of Medicine and received her training in pediatrics at the University of Washington. She has been chosen by a survey of her peers as one of Seattle's Best Doctors for two consecutive years. She is the mother of four children, and grandmother of three preschoolers. She practices pediatrics in the greater Seattle area. Jennifer Pugmire graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University in statistics and math. Currently the stay-at-home mom of two preschool children, she also teaches in a coop preschool and is involved in volunteer work. She has been leader of a church nursery for children aged 18 months to 3 years and has done home day care for preschoolers. She has hands-on experience with the challenge of feeding toddlers nutritious foods. Jennifer develops and tests recipes in her kitchen and coordinates outside testing for mother and toddler approval. Marilyn Taggart is a graphic artist with twenty years of freelance art experience since studying art at Brigham Young University. She has worked in several media including acrylics, water color, and sculpture, and was co-owner of a successful company specializing in wall murals. She is the illustrator for Food for Tots. Marilyn is the mother of five children and grandmother of two. She is an active volunteer in church and community activities. |
